Oakview Recreation Center & Park has a gym, activity rooms, community garden, ballfield, lighted tennis courts, picnic shelter and playground.
Hours: Monday–Thursday 11 AM–8 PM; Friday 11 AM–6 PM; Saturday 9 AM–2 PM. Check holiday changes and the current activity schedule; classes and sports may have separate enrollment, age limits and fees. Phone: 336-883-3508.

A new High Point Center for Active Adults is under construction on this campus. The city anticipates construction completion in December 2026; this is not an announced public opening date. Roy B.
