New to the Area? Start With Your Address

Start with the home's actual address when checking school assignment, government jurisdiction, utility coverage and transportation. A mailing city alone should not be used to assign those services.

Find the property on your county's official map:

Forsyth County: MapForsyth, the City-County Geographic Information Office, offers address search, a county-boundary check and a tax parcel viewer: https://www.mapforsyth.org/

Guilford County GIS: start from the county's official Geographic Information Systems page for its GIS Data Viewer and addressing resources: https://www.guilfordcountync.gov/government/departments-and-agencies/information-technology/geographic-information-systems-gis

Randolph County GIS: search the official county map by address or owner to review parcel information, zoning and tax districts: https://gis.randolphcountync.gov/

Use the map as a starting point. Confirm school assignment with the school district, utility availability with the provider, and transportation service with the operator for the exact address before making arrangements.
