Mebane Citizens Academy — 2026–2027 Program Guide
A free civic education series for ages 14 and older; registration closes October 1.
Learn how Mebane’s departments and local government work through presentations, conversations and facility visits. The Mebane Woman’s Club partners with the city to offer this free program for ages 14 and older.
The series began September 10, 2026. Upcoming fall sessions are October 8, November 12 and December 10, 6:30–8 PM. Locations vary by topic; obtain the assigned venue before each session instead of assuming every meeting is at the MACC.
The current catalog accepts registration through October 1 and lists a schedule extending to May 13, 2027; some descriptive text still says April. Ask about joining after the first session and confirm the full schedule. Enrollment is required; these are not general drop-in public meetings.
